Handy Cruise Accessories

I want to send a shout out to Patrick H. for asking about a solution for those flimsy paper luggage tags so many cruise lines want us to staple onto our luggage when we arrive in port. While I have never lost one, they sure aren’t very sturdy and no one wants their luggage tag getting torn off on a cart full of luggage and not finding them on board!

I use these myself and they work great. They are reusable, too, so one package should last you a long time!

These Highwind Travel Cruise Luggage Etag Holders have a zip seal and Steel Loops. They are available from Walmart currently for $12.99 for a package of 8. They also have a few other options. Just be sure you match your cruise line to the style/size of tag holder!

Another one of my favorite items are packing cubes. Just ask my kids – they all got a set for Christmas (actually they weren’t thrilled but mother knows best!). These handy pouches have a lot of uses. They come in a variety of sizes and colors and typically have a see through ventilated section that makes it easy to see what is inside. Use them to pack all of a single item like socks or shirts together or pack day by day if you prefer. Just pop them out of your suitcase and into a drawer, unzip and roll back the lid for effortless unpacking. Plus it is always nice to have something between your clothes and that bare drawer!

Tip -I find it really helpful to have my disembarkation outfit packed ahead in one so that I know I have everything I will need on that last hectic morning!

I got mine from EBags but I just saw this great deal at Amazon on Bagail packing cubes. They come in 14 colors/patterns and are only $25 for a set of 6 in varying sizes.

Does anyone else have any great tips for cruise accessories they just can’t live without? I would love to hear from you!
