BACK TO CRUISING!!

Finally, I am heading out on my first sailing since February 2020 and I can’t wait! Several of my more adventurous clients have already sailed this year and many more have cruises planned for the near future. I can’t wait to be among you, with a river cruise from Amsterdam to Basel on the Crystal DeBussy late in October. Following the cruise I am planning several days in both Paris and Venice. It will be an exciting time for me, to be sure!

I can’t say that this has been an easy process. Negotiating the Covid requirements for France, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Switzerland has been trying. Air hasn’t been easy either – with flights being cancelled and changed multiple times. My travel folder is bursting at the seams with documents but I think I am finally ready. Even for a hard core traveler it has required a lot of patience.

I am trying out a new service on this trip – Luggage Free. They offer luggage shipping from your home to your destination. When I considered paying the extra baggage fees for the several flights I would be taking and lugging all that stuff around through airports and customs, I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I will be reporting back to you about the service and if it was helpful.

I will be posting information about the trip to the blog for anyone who is interested in river cruising or the current state of European travel.
